I don't know if it was faulty or if it was replaced because it could not meet demands. I have tried using both the web interface and the serial comms. With the serial comms I made a cable based on the pin numbering in page 95. I do not get no communication instead I get garbage. I tried fiddling with terminal settings such as the baud rate, bits, stop bit, parity, flow control.

I tried using putty and tera term pro. But All I get is garbage from that port. If I try 8bits then I get high ASCII characters it I try 7 bits I get low ASCII garbage.

The number of characters received is very low and doesn't look anything like a login prompt. With the web page I can't find the server when I connect the PBX through a switch to my computer.
