Will Costco Install Tires Purchased Elsewhere Programs
I just ordered four tires online for my f150 and was wondering where I could take my truck to have the old tires taken off and the new ones installed with mounting and balancing? I read somewhere online that Walmart will install tires that weren't purchased from them, but it says carry in only.

Does this mean. I just ordered four tires online for my f150 and was wondering where I could take my truck to have the old tires taken off and the new ones installed with mounting and balancing? I read somewhere online that Walmart will install tires that weren't purchased from them, but it says carry in only. Does this mean I have to take the wheels off my truck and bring them to the store with the new tires or can I just bring in my new tires along with my truck and have them swapped out? Has anyone done anything similar? Any advice is appreciated. I'm going to call tomorrow, but wanted some ideas now.
Any info is appreciated. Best Answer: just about any repair shop will do this for you. Dont go to wal mart. You want a trained technician putting your wheels and tires on. Should cost you around 40-60 dollars to have them swapped out, mounted and balanced. You may have to pay additional for valve stems and tire disposal. The term 'carry-in' is a bit confusing. I would assume they mean you have to bring the wheels, with the old tires still on them (or in some cases, like new wheels, separately) and the tires before they would do the swapping.
