Actually, what I'm doing is I have an application that runs on XP (it perfectly detects the COM ports in XP) and I want it to run on PE. The app sends and receives data through the serial COM port (COM1 or COM2). This port is connected to a device.

I want the app to communicate with the device while it is running on PE. Any more ideas? By the way, I'm running the PE image on Microsoft's Vitural PC.
